INTRODUCTION

Subshell necrosis – hematopoietic organ and microsporidial disease are two common diseases commonly encountered in shrimp farming. Subcapsular and hematopoietic necrosis is caused by Infectious hypodermal & hematopoietic necrosis virus (IHHNV) and has the ability to spread rapidly. Meanwhile, microsporidian disease in shrimp is caused by the parasite Enterocytozoon Hepatopenaei (EHP). They live parasitically in hepatopancreatic epithelial cells, hindering the absorption of nutrients, causing stunted shrimp growth. Therefore, early detection of pathogens present during the farming and care process is essential to limit damage caused by diseases.

TopSPEC® Air-Dryable IHHNV-EHP qPCR Kit is a test kit that detects the simultaneous presence of IHHNV (Capsid protein gene) and EHP (SWP1 gene) viruses on shrimp samples using Real technology. -time PCR. The kit helps detect pathogens present in the farming environment early and quickly. In addition, with the use of dry mix technology, the kit can be stored at cool temperatures, convenient for direct on-site testing, saving time and effort in transporting samples to the laboratory.
