INTRODUCTION
Gonorrhea is caused by the bacterium Neisseria gonorrhoeae through the epithelium of the urethra, cervix, rectum, pharynx or conjunctiva, causing irritation, pain and scattered bleeding. The probability of transmission from women to men is 20%, but it is much higher in the opposite direction. Gonorrhea not only affects the health of men and women, but also causes conjunctival infections in infants. Therefore, timely diagnosis and treatment is essential.
