INTRODUCTION
FFPE is a cancer biopsy tissue sample, fixed with formalin and molded paraffin to help preserve tissue structure intact for a long time. This is also a great resource for retrospective research on cancer, histopathology, and molecular genetics. Currently, gene sequencing, Realtime PCR are often used to accurately detect gene mutations, quantify cancer gene expression, etc. Therefore, DNA extraction from FFPE tissue is an important first step.
