1. Introducing the 16-sample automatic nucleic acid extraction machine
ABT 16-sample automatic nucleic acid extraction machine (EZ16) uses magnetic characteristics of nucleic acids to develop a rapid and synchronous DNA/RNA extraction process. Extraction technology by Magnetism helps save time in DNA/RNA extraction and purification steps for a variety of sample volumes from 1-16 samples in one run.
The capacity of the ABT extraction machine can be up to 16 samples per run for 30 minutes. In addition to standard consumables used to extract maximum sample volumes, ABT also provides consumables used to operate the extraction machine with small sample volumes, helping to save costs on chemicals and accompanying supplies. EZ16 is safe and reliable, can be used to extract DNA, RNA from whole blood samples, cells, tissues and other sample types (depending on the extraction kit), saving time and money. effort. Principle of operation:
Using magnetic particle separation technology, in which DNA/RNA is extracted from the sample solution mixture using magnetic force. At certain salt concentrations, nucleic acids bind to magnetic particles. A magnet is then used to create a strong magnetic field inside the solution. Magnetic beads bound to nucleic acids are attracted to the magnetic field and then the DNA or RNA is eluted with appropriate chemicals.

6. Consumable material solutions
For the EZ16 16-model separator, consumables include two solutions depending on sample run capacity:
6.1. Standard capacity: Used to run up to 16 samples/run simultaneously
– Deep-well plate Including 96 wells used for ABT extraction machine. The product is manufactured with high purity materials, sterilized and does not contain fine dust that contaminates the sample.
- Number of wells on the plate: 96 wells (8×12 wells)
- Well bottom shape: V shape
– Tipcomb is manufactured in plastic polypropylene (PP), used to cover magnetic rods for ABT separators. The product is suitable for handling magnetic beads due to their low binding affinity for nucleic acid molecules.
- Number of tips on tipcomb: 8 tips correspond to 8 magnetic bars
- Cylindrical shape with U-shaped sleeve bottom.
6.2. Optimal capacity: Used for sample runs with more than 1 sample/run
– Tipcomb is manufactured in plastic polypropylene (PP), used to cover magnetic bars for ABTseparators
– ABT® EZ32 Strips Tube is manufactured using high purity materials using a modern manufacturing process that ensures uniformity and accuracy high body. The product is sterilized and does not contain fine dust that contaminates the sample. The product can be used to replace 1.5mL tubes for sample storage and used in retail magnetic extraction.
– Rack from ABT® EZ32 Rack (ART-001) is made of sturdy stainless steel. The product is used as a base to support tube strips in magnetic extraction in ABTseparation machines.

8. Notes when using the 16-sample extraction machine
– Ensure biological safety when performing tests
– Be sure to attach the Tipcomb before running to avoid damage to the model and machine
– When an incident occurs, clean the machine with alcohol and DNA/RNA Away
– Carefully take the sample and place the sample disc in the tray
– Avoid placing the sample plate near UV rays, sunlight or spending too long in the air
– Avoid removing alcohol from the sample plate
– Remove UV and clean with alcohol after each run
